The evening was described as a successful book club gathering, with members having the opportunity to meet David and his wife, Tonya. According to club president Jennifer Mavencamp Stasz, the group enjoyed the evening and found David and Tonya’s story particularly intriguing. Following the discussion, the club selected Body Run as its next book. The group planned to meet again on April 22 at 6:00 PM to discuss their next selection. The book was available on Kindle, and one of the members also offered to lend her copy to anyone who needed one. The club's president later shared her remarks about the evening, highlighting the successful gathering and the members' enthusiasm for the author's visit.
